VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada – Precision NanoSystems, Inc. (PNI), a privately held biotechnology company developing proprietary microfluidic-based manufacturing technology for the use and development of cutting edge nanomedicines, has been invited to speak at the 2013 International Liposome Society (ILS) Meeting, Liposome Advances: Progress in Drug and Vaccine Delivery, to be held in London, UK from 14 – 17 December 2013. Dr. James Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of PNI, will present PNI’s recent advances in the development and use of the NanoAssemblrTM Platform for the rapid development and scale-up of lipid nanoparticle drugs. Dr. Taylor’s presentation, “The NanoAssemblrTM Platform : Microfluidics-Based Manufacture of Nanomedicines” will be held on December 17 at 11am.
Dr. Taylor commented, “The ILS meeting is long-standing conference exhibiting work from world-wide leaders in lipid nanoparticles. The NanoAssemblr platform is setting the standard for lipid nanoparticle development, with many ILS members now using the NanoAssemblrTM platform. The NanoAssemblrTMtechnology enables exquisite control over nanoparticle formation for expedited development and manufacture of previously unobtainable next-generation lipid nanoparticles. This includes “limit-size” lipid nanoparticle systems designed to facilitate improved delivery of bioactive materials to a wider range of cells and tissues in the body.”
