This course is aimed at providing pharmaceutical scientists with knowledge and confidence to start early preclinical development of RNA-LNP vaccines. The course will be offered in two parts: an online, on-demand fundamentals portion and a live hands-on training portion. Successful completion of both parts is required to receive NanoAssemblr® Ignite™ user certification.
This course provides biopharma scientists with an accessible introduction to fundamental, molecular-level mechanisms behind RNA-LNP formulations, self-assembly and RNA vaccines. This course, previously held as pre-scheduled live training sessions, will now be available pre-recorded for convenient self-paced access.

The practical portion involves both recorded and live instruction designed to familiarize bench-scientists with the complete workflow for preparing RNA-LNPs for early preclinical development.
A NanoAssemblr® Ignite™ and other laboratory equipment and supplies are required*. The purchase of a GenVoy-ILM training kit and payload is required, in addition to the course cost. Successful completion of Part I is required.

Shell Ip, PhD
Dr. Ip is currently the Science Education Manager at Precision Nanosystems has been serving in technical communication and training roles in PNI's commercial team since 2015. He combines his multidisciplinary background with an aptitude for communication to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences through various media. In his postdoctoral and doctoral research, he developed hybrid bio/inorganic nanomaterials for diagnostics applications. He has earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
